Cancellation Policy

At Bidyut Home Services Enterprise, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility while respecting the time and effort of our service professionals.

  1. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

✅ Free Cancellations

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled service time.

⚠️ Late Cancellations

If you cancel within 2 hours of the scheduled service, a cancellation fee of 25% of the service amount may apply.

If the service provider has already arrived at your location or is en route, a 50% cancellation fee may apply.

🚫 No-Show by Customer

If you are not present or unreachable at the time of the service, the booking will be marked as a “No-Show”, and no refund will be issued.

  • Provider-Initiated Cancellations

If the service provider cancels the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you immediately.

In such cases, you will have the option to:

Reschedule the service at no extra cost, or

Receive a full refund to your original payment method.

  • Rescheduling Policy

You can reschedule a service up to 1 hour before the scheduled time without any extra fee.

Rescheduling within 1 hour of the appointment may be treated as a cancellation and may attract a fee.

  • How to Cancel or Reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule a booking by:

Logging into your account on the Bidyut Home Services Enterprise app or website.

Going to the “My Bookings” section.

Selecting the service and tapping on “Cancel” or “Reschedule”.

  • Exceptions

In emergency situations (e.g., medical emergencies, natural disasters), cancellation charges may be waived upon request and review.

Repeat last-minute cancellations may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges.
