Refund Policy

At Bidyut Home Services Enterprise, we are committed to delivering quality services and ensuring customer satisfaction. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  • The service was not provided as scheduled, due to provider no-show or cancellation without rescheduling.
  • The quality of service delivered was significantly below expectations, and valid proof (photos, videos, written complaint) is submitted within 24 hours.
  • The service was canceled in advance, according to the cancellation policy (see below).
  • There was a duplicate payment or billing error.

2. Refund Timeline

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Free cancellation if done at least 2 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Cancellations made within 2 hours of the service may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the service charge.
  • Customers may reschedule services up to 1 hour before the appointment without extra charges.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The customer was unavailable or unreachable at the service location.
  • The complaint is made after 24 hours of service completion without adequate documentation.
  • Partial dissatisfaction due to reasons outside the provider’s control (e.g. power failure, unclean water, etc.).
  • A service was fully delivered and accepted at the time of completion.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Bookings section in the app/website.
  2. Select the relevant booking and click on “Request Refund”.
  3. Submit the required details and evidence (if applicable).
  4. Our support team will review your case and respond within 48 hours.
